Vehicle Repair Guide for ZED ZONE | ZED ZONE Wiki
Use the vehicle repair kit from your main inventory, target a damaged part, and check the repair prompt before servicing wheels or other components.
Carry the Repair Kit in Your Inventory
A vehicle repair kit must be in your character's main inventory when you start a repair. A kit resting on the ground beside the vehicle does not meet that condition. The vehicle repair discussion describes placing the kit in inventory before interacting with the vehicle part.
Approach the vehicle and inspect its damaged components. For a chassis or another part below 80% condition, right-click the part to begin the repair action. Keep the kit accessible and check that the target part is the one selected before confirming. If the action does not start, move the kit into the main inventory, close other menus, and try the damaged component again.
Check Wheels and Parts Separately
Do not assume every component uses the same repair item. The available repair notes indicate that wheels may require a different item, so read the interaction text before consuming a kit. Inspect the wheel, chassis, engine, and other visible parts one at a time. If the prompt names a separate replacement or repair material, collect that item before continuing.
A useful repair order is to restore the parts that affect whether the vehicle can move, then address additional damage. Keep a spare kit in base when possible, but carry only the amount needed for the trip. Sorting repair supplies into a dedicated container reduces the chance of leaving a required item behind when setting out to recover a vehicle.
Prevent Repeat Breakdowns
Before driving away, look over the vehicle and check the condition shown for its major parts. Repair what the interface allows and note any part that remains below full condition. If the vehicle still behaves poorly, inspect other components rather than repeatedly using the same kit on the chassis.
The exact repair rules can change with patches, and the discussion does not establish a universal procedure for every wheel or component. Use the current interaction prompt as the final check. Keep repair kits in the main inventory, target one part at a time, and avoid spending a scarce item until the game shows that it applies to that part.
